Think you have the inside track on this year's NCAA Tournament winners?

Don't just pin your hopes on your favorite teams; make your picks on our Pinterest Madness pin boards. We'll post the folks who pick the most winners here. And after the next National Champion cuts down the nets, we'll send our top prognosticators a special Pinterest Madness t-shirt.

If you don't already have a Pinterest account, be sure to set one up before you play.

Winners, To Claim Your T-shirt:

  1. Send your name, mailing address, email address and Pinterest profile URL (e.g. www.pinterest.com/username) to emisare@gmail.com.
  2. We will send you a graphic (with a unique identifier) for you to post to one of your Pinterest boards
  3. Notify us once you've posted the graphic and please make sure to supply the full URL link for verification
  4. T-shirts will be mailed USPS standard class within 3 to 4 weeks of verification

Our top will receive a free Pinterest Madness t-shirt. In keeping with the theme of the contest we are posting t-shirt desings to be voted upon. The desing with the most repins/likes will adorn this years Pinterest Madness t-shirt.

RULES

To pick your winners, go to the game board for each game in the current round and click the "Like" or "Repin" button for the team you think will win. Do not "Like" or "Repin" both teams; this will cause both of your entries to be disqualified.

Deadlines for entries will be posted next to the game listings (above). Entries received after the posted deadlines will not be counted. Pinterest Madness is a round-by-round challenge; so early losses won't cripple your chances in later games.

Points for winning picks will be awarded on the following basis:

  • 2nd Round: 1 point per winning pick
  • 3rd Round: 2 points
  • Regional Semifinals: 4 points
  • Regional Finals: 8 points
  • National Semifinals: 16 points
  • National Championship: 32 points

Note: the play-in games of March 13-14 will not be included in Pinterest Madness. You may make your 2nd Round picks as soon as the seeds are announced and our pin boards are up.

Our Top 25 pickers (based on the point system above) will receive a free Pinterest Madness t-shirt. Any ties will be broken via random drawing. After each round, the current Top 25 will be posted to our leaderboard here at pinterestmadness.com. Check back to track your progress.

This is an informal challenge, created to add a little extra entertainment to March Madness. So, have fun!

DEADLINES

2nd Round entries must be received by 11:00 P.M. (Eastern) on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

3rd Round entries must be received by 10:00 A.M. (Eastern) on Saturday, March 17, 2012.

Regional Semifinals entries must be received by 11:00 P.M. (Eastern) on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.

Regional Finals entries must be received by 10:00 A.M. (Eastern) on Saturday, March 24, 2012.

National Semifinals (Final Four) entries must be received by 10:00 P.M. (Eastern) on Friday, March 30, 2012.

National Championship entries must be received by 10:00 P.M. (Eastern) on Sunday, April 1st, 10:00 pm.
